Make A Donation

We are a self-funded, not-for-profit incorporated association.

To help cover operational costs, we ask for a small donation from the people we offer our services to. This does not cover even half of our costs therefore, we rely on sponsorships and donations from kind groups and individuals to cover the short fall. We operate on a shoe string.

We do not pay out huge wages in fact, we are all volunteers except for one, part-time admin staff person and a book-keeper working one or two days per month.

The benefits our highly skilled pets as therapy program offers, generates close to miraculous stories on a weekly basis. Even after 12 years in this field, I am still and constantly amazed by the wonderous stories and comments from clients, our volunteers and health professionals such as: clients smiling for the first time in months; talked for the first time in months and the story of the little autistic toddler who reached out to pat the dog - miraculous! This was the first time he had ever reached out for anything in his 3 years of life!

We are in search of government grants but at this stage, we are reliant on the kind donations and sponsorships from community spirited folk.

We desperately are in need of more volunteers. Maybe you can donate resources rather than money? We need: Local publication advertising space; premises for training purposes; costs of uniforms. If you can donate any of these it would be deeply appreciated. 

If your group or work place would like to sponsor pets as therapy visits, or one of our special projects, we will keep you regularly updated with lovely photos and great comments for your reception or web site notice board.
