Pets As Therapy (National and International) Correspondence Training Course - Home Study
This course gives a firm foundation in becoming a 'pets as therapy' volunteer interacting with a pet, with frail and challenged adults and children; emphasising health and safety, legal, insurance, ethical and compassionate issues. Plus shows you how to teach your dog basic obedience and behaviour on visits. The course also provides support and paperwork in working as a volunteer in your own location. The course fee is $225.50 (Australian dollars) taken by email.
